I should be in France right now but Aix was not our favourite city because the students there were too loud and there was a lot of dog poop everywhere. Our first place out of France was Cinque Terre which I’m going to be talking about. There are five towns in Cinque terre. Cinque means five in Italian. Terre means land. There beautiful towns. Here are pictures of them.

I found out that there was a lot of hills and mountains in Italy. When we finally got to Cinque terre from a 3hour drive listening an audio book called The Secret Garden. We stoped for a little bit because me and my brother got hungry so we ate a little snack. The girl that introduced us to our place was nice she gave us shampoo and conditioner. We did not swim that day but we swam on the 3rd day of the three days. It was really fun and there was a huge rock in the middle of the beach. I climbed to the top of the rock.

We went out for dinner one night and I tried octopus. It tasted pretty good.
We taste tested a gelato from each of the five towns. My favourite gelato flavour was frutti de bosco. It’s practically just fruit and it’s a purple pink colour. My favourite towns were Corniglia and Manarola.
I didn’t know if it was me or if the pizza was better than I espected in Italy.
We did half of the blue trail but the other half was closed because of a land slide I think we could do the rest.
We went on a boat from one side of cinque terre to the other side.
We had a great time there.
